'Karl Hinds Completes incredible New Album'

Ill flava is happy to announce the completion of Karl Hinds' new Album 'The Need To Be Heard'. Due for release this summer, this Album has already been described by music critics as his best LP to date.

'The Need To Be Heard' is Karl's third album in which he continues to showcase his incredible production, with this self produced future classic. Including features from Ill Flava's new signing Jeff3 and other heavy spitters M.C. Theme, East London Co-defender Iceman, former label member Serocee and R&B singer Carmel Cruz, who all compliment the quality of this project.

This LP clearly signifies a new chapter and growth in Karl Hinds' career as the subject
matters have a more mature theme. Karl describes this album as "An LP for Hip Hop cynosures from the ages of 24 upwards. It is an album about hustling but I talk about how to come back from loss and the type of set backs that would bury those without that hustlers spirit."

Karl describes the album cover as a visual representation of the title, that is, if money talks then I need to be heard, hence the megaphone beside the money.This is another banger trust us.

'Ill Flava Records signs new artist - Rapper, Producer and Songwriter - JEFF 3'

Ill Flava Records is proud to announce the signing of rap artist, producer and songwriter Jeff 3. Jeff rose to prominence in 2006 on the LP The Blacknificent Seven. As the only unknown in otherwise star studded line up of rappers which included, Grammy award wining artist Estelle, award wining artists Roots Manuva, Rodney P, Karl Hinds, Skeme, and Seanie T, Jeff 3 clearly impressed the Ill Flava boss.

In a recent interview label owner Karl Hinds said, “I’ve been looking for an artist that shares my qualities and Jeff is that artist. His sound is 'relate music' so the streets can connect with his subject matters instantly. His lyrics are so descriptive and accessible that anybody listening will be able to visualise his stories. He’s intelligent so his musical content has substance which is something not every rapper in the UK possesses. Jeff doesn’t repeat the same subject matter on different tracks and his flow displays versatility."

When asked why he chose to sign to Ill Flava Records Jeff replied, “I’ve watched Ill Flava’s progress through the years and have always been impressed with the way they conduct business. In my opinion, from what I’ve seen of Hip Hop label’s in Britain, they are one of the most talented and fast growing labels. Being signed to Ill Flava gives me the platform I need to project. In return, my talent will help to elevate Ill Flava’s continued success".
